I must say, we’ve had a hard time getting back in the groove after the long Thanksgiving break. My daughter is definitely counting down the days until Christmas!
I’m looking forward to posting some of my favorite Christmas recipes soon, but today is a fabulous pie round-up! All of these pies were hits at our Thanksgiving lunch last week.

A new twist on the classic! The apple mixture is cooked until it oozes with a deliciously sweet and salty caramel. Definitely a must-try!
Cecelia’s Sweet Potato Pie with Bourbon Cream
My sister always makes this for Thankgiving and I look forward to eating it every year! It has a whole wheat crust topped with chopped pecans, then filled with luscious sweet potato. Mmmm. Topped with bourbon cream, it is out of this world!

Well, I can’t believe I read this earlier today and didn’t make a comment! How rude!!! You know how much I enjoyed that chocolate chip pie, and the others were luscious as well! Thank you for posting these great recipes! I’ll have to use a little restraint, but I’m sure I’ll find a good way to make these goodies soon!
